DAY ONE
CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA
Our mystical hike starts early in the morning, collecting you at 5:00 am at Hotel. We have a spectacular drive of 3:30 to 4:00 hours along Pampa de Anta; it takes us through Limatambo Valley and our starting point of our hike in Mollepata town. It is an easy dayof walking, not too much climbing and the views are imposing all the way around. After 4:00 hours walk we arrive at Silcakancha lunch spot. We continue with a 3:00 hours hike in afternoon. The snow capped mountains of Umantay and Salkantay will leave you astounded with their colorful views which constantly change in the reflections of the sun. The incredible views continue until we reach Soraypamapa, our first base camp. After a little rest we have a hot drink, and at around 7:00 at night we enjoy dinner.Our company crew is highly trained, with a bilingual guide equipped with first aid kit, an oxygen tank, kitchen crew and a head porter.
DAY TWO
SORAYPAMPA – UMANTAY PASS – COLPABAMBA
Our journey starts early at 6:00 am, we enjoy breakfast and start to climb from 3,400 mts (11,220 ft) up to 4,650 mts (15,345 ft), the highest point of our hike. The hike to the pass offers spectacular views of the Andes Range surrounded by dark green forested hills in the cloud forest. Descending, beautiful flora adorns our path. We lunch at a great spot with further fantastic views. Continuing a short hike, we reach Colpa Bamba base camp in a tropical area. After hot drinks, we will have dinner at 7pm.
DAY THREE
COLPABAMBA – PLAYA
Our hike along a beautiful cloud forest starts early at 6:00 am, We enjoy breakfast and we then hike in a forest of lush vegetation through a colorful riot of orchids, bromeliads, mosses and fern to reach the Lluscamayu lunch site. Two to three hours away is our camp La Playa, along the way we visit Incan bridges and the fauna on this part of the hike is strkingly beautiful.
DAY FOUR
PLAYA – SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALINTES
Our day starts by getting up at 6:00 am, enjying breakfast and then we board a little truck on a fascinating drive to Santa Teresa town. Afterwards another truck takes us to Hydroelectric town, where we rest and lunch. In the afternoon we travel to Aguas Calientes on train. Dinner and rest at Hotel.
DAY FIVE
MACHUPICCHU TOUR – CUSCO
Our amazing day starts early by getting up 5:00 am, we enjoy breafast and then we catch the earliest bus at 6:00 am for the half an hour drive to Machupicchu. Here we will watch our imposing father sun rise, shining over the city and its surroundings. After this incredible phenomenon, we start our meeting with the Inca legacy in informative tour of Machupicchu.
In the afternoon we will return to Cusco by train. We ended up leaving you in your hotel.
