Our Urubamba Range tour starts by collecting you from your Hotel. We then have 50 minutes van ride to Maras which is about 50 kms towards the northwest of Cusco. Its altitude is at 3,300 mts. (10,824 ft). It was a pre-Inca settlement and around this area there are a large amount of pottery pieces from the Chanapata culture. Its occupation began when the Cusquenian Inca noblemen were dispossessed of their palaces. Many of its houses are emblazoned with Spanish nobility coats of arms on their lintels.

We then visit Moray which is about 7 kms (4.3 miles) southwest from the dusty roads of Maras. It was an experimental biological station where the Incas domesticated and acclimatized wild vegetable species.

Afterwards we continue with Salineras is an Inca salt work or salt mine. It was constructed in a slope of the Qaqawiñay Mountain. We then return to Cusco.

We ended up leaving you in your Hotel.
